Two men reportedly armed with a knife were chased by police following a fight between youths in South Norwood yesterday.
Police had numerous calls to High Street at about 5pm on Tuesday to reports of a "disturbance" involving about 50 youths fighting.
Calls had indicated two suspects were on a moped armed with a knife, a Metropolitan Police spokesman said.
Officers attended and a number of people dispersed upon police arrival.
