The political map of Croydon is set to be redrawn in an attempt to make sure each area of the borough has the same number of voters.
The electoral commission has been asked by the council to look at ward boundaries because Some of Croydon's 24 wards have a disproportionately high or low number of residents who are eligible to vote.
But one of the measures proposed is for the number of elected members representing the borough to be cut from 70 to 60.
