A 48 hour strike by tram drivers planned for later this week has been suspended after staff were made an improved pay offer. Members of union Aslef were due to strike on Wednesday and Thursday in a dispute over pay. FirstGroup, which operates Tramlink on behalf of Transport for London (TfL), has now increased its offer.
