The plea date for a man accused of raping a pensioner in her Purley home has been adjourned.Jason Batchelor, 46, is accused of entering the elderly woman's home on May 11 before punching her in the face, sexually assaulting and raping her.Batchelor, of Wentworth Court in Maldon Road, Wallington, was due to enter a plea to the charges at Croydon Crown Court today.However, the hearing was adjourned until later this year.
