This is the moment lashings of water flooded a residential street in Old Coulsdon during the biblical storms on Tuesday.
Steve Hann had just pulled up outside his house in Caterham Drive when heavy rain and hail began to batter his car.
He said within 20 minutes water began to flow rapidly down the street, which is on a hill.
Mr Hann, a father-of-two, said: "Within no time at all the water level just rose."It turned from a road into a river incredibly quick."
