Police have reopened Wickham Road, in Shirley, after a woman was hit by a car this morning (Wednesday).The woman was hit as she walked across a pedestrian crossing at about 9.30am this morning.Police closed the road near McDonald's and the grounds of Bethlam Royal Hospital after the incident, reopening it at midday.The woman was taken to a south London hospital.
