The lead detective who helped bring the killers of Selsdon teenager Andre Aderemi to justice has described the role of the getaway driver as "significant".
Jamell Lonergan, 19, pleaded guilty to manslaughter on Friday and was sentenced to 10 years in prison for his involvement in the attack.
He originally denied murdering 19-year-old Mr Aderemi, who was repeatedly stabbed, kicked and beaten on the Monks Hill estate in daylight on August 16 last year.
