A jewellery shop in Caterham was broken into in the early hours of Tuesday morning with high-value gold, diamonds and emeralds being stolen.
Surrey Police officers were called to Infinity Jewellers, in Church Walk Shopping Centre, after the store was broken into just after 4am.
The door and windows of the displays were smashed.
Employees at stores based in the shopping centre explained how they saw broken glass on the floor next to the jewellers' on the morning of the burglary.
