Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was raped by a man who attacked her as she walked through a Croydon underpass.
The attack occurred at around 10.40am on Wednesday, April 19 in the underpass on Southbridge Place, which goes under the Croydon flyover.
The victim had walked past a row of shops and entered the underpass when she was attacked by a man who approached her from behind.
The victim, a woman in her 40s, was pushed to the floor and assaulted.
