Police have cordoned off Woodside tram stop in Croydon following reports of a stabbing this afternoon.
Officers were called by the London Ambulance Service at about 3.20pm.
London Tramlink say no trams are calling at Woodside at the request of the British Transport Police (BTP).
The Metropolitan Police confirmed they are in attendance, but said officers from BTP were taking the lead.
The BTP and London Ambulance Service have been approached for a comment.
