Croydon school children have been praised for rushing to aid of a woman who cut her head open after falling over in Purley.On Monday (March 20) a a group of six students were walking home from Thomas More Catholic School when they saw a woman fall over and receive a nasty cut to her head while walking from Pampisford Road to Purley High Street.The boys, aged 12 to 15, ran to help the fallen woman, called an ambulance, comforted her - and one boy even gallantly used his coat to shelter her from...
