South Croydon station has been closed after a man died after being hit by a Southern Rail train this afternoon.A spokesman for Network Rail said police officers from the British Transport Police were called to the station at about 1.20pm.
He added: "The train involved was the 12.48pm Tattenham Corner to London Bridge service. The station is currently closed to all passengers and we are advising passengers to check before they travel tonight."
