CONDUCTORS on Southern Rail services have voted to go on strike over proposals to bring in driver-only trains.Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) , overwhelmingly voted in favour of the action, it was announced this morning.RMT says plans to make conductors 'onboard supervisors' will threaten jobs, working conditions and public safety.It is not yet known when a strike may happen, though it is likely to bring more misery for commuters.The new onboard supervisors will no longer...
