The Met Office is forecasting that heavy snow is going to fall in Croydon this afternoon. Throughout the week it hasn't been forecasting snow to fall at all. But this morning an updated forecast warns of heavy snow between midday and 1pm. It also warns that there is likely to be sleet between 1pm and 2pm and then more light snow up until 4pm.
