One hour's free parking is to be reintroduced in Croydon's district centres in a fresh U-turn by Croydon Council.
Thornton Heath, South Norwood, Addiscombe, East Croydon (Cherry Orchard Road), South Croydon, Selsdon, New Addington, Purley and Coulsdon will all get one-hour's free parking bays on their roads later this year.
All other on-street pay and display charges will be frozen, while charges for businesses and residents' parking permits will also be the same as the current level next...
