A major road which was partially closed for weeks is open again, much to the relief of a Purley business owner. Between November 21 and January 9, Network Rail's engineers closed part of Old Lodge Lane to carry out essential repairs to a Victorian railway bridge which is near Reedham train station.The busy road has since reopened following the successful repairs and according to Network Rail it doesn't anticipate any more work to be carried out along Old Lodge Lane in the near future.The news...
