Croydon Council has unveiled a new enormous piece of machinery which will be hoovering up the mess on the borough's streets.
Councillor Stuart Collins, the cabinet member for Clean Green Croydon, presented the electric hoover at a cabinet meeting last night (Monday).
In the future, there could be up to 50 of these massive green machines sucking up rubbish on the town's streets, replacing the carts that street sweepers currently have.
