Sick residents struck down by a coughing epidemic which is sweeping across Britain are being asked not to visit Croydon's A&E unless it is absolutely necessary. Across the UK there has been an increase in the number of patients visiting GP surgeries with a nasty cough, which cannot be treated with antibiotics.
