London Road was closed this afternoon after a collision between a car and a man.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police confirmed they were called to reports of the collision at about 3.15pm.
The road was closed for several hours while emergency services worked at the scene, while Transport for London said several bus routes were diverted.
