A suspected machine gun has been recovered by police in West Norwood.Officers from the Specialist Firearms Command joined Trident detectives for an intelligence-led operation at 6pm last night. A car, believed to be carrying a firearm, was stopped on Norwood Road near the junction with Croxted Road.The driver of the car, a man believed aged 23, was tasered after he reportedly refused to comply with the officers' instructions.
