A Thornton Heath man once described as one of Croydon's most wanted has had his jail term for a series of car thefts in the borough slashed.Gordon Desborough, of Beulah Crescent, had a long history of offending, mainly of theft to fund a drug addiction.At Croydon Crown Court in March, the 35-year-old was jailed for 28 months for a host of offences.But judges at the Court of Appeal today (Friday) decided that sentence was too harsh, and cut his jail term to 18 months.Until last summer he had been...
